Largely discontinued legacy banner. Cooper's Foods was founded by the Cooper family in Revelstoke, BC in 1956 and acquired by the Overwaitea Food Group (now Pattison Food Group, part of the Jim Pattison Group) in 1999. In 2016 Overwaitea announced that the remaining ~12 Cooper's Foods stores would be converted to its main Save-On-Foods banner; Wikipedia lists Cooper's Foods among Pattison Food Group's 'Defunct' banners. As of 2025-2026 the banner is almost entirely phased out, though a small number of locations may still appear under the Cooper's Foods name in the BC Interior (e.g. a listing at the Shops at Polson Park, Vernon, BC), which is why the name may still occur in OpenStreetMap data.
