Specialty / ethnic (Mediterranean and Middle Eastern) supermarket banner, wholly owned by Metro Inc. and operated corporately through subsidiary Adonis Group Inc.; supplied by Phoenicia Group distribution centres. Metro acquired a 55% majority stake in Marche Adonis and its distributor Phoenicia Products in October 2011 and acquired the remaining 45% in December 2017 for full ownership. As of September 28, 2024 there were 11 Adonis stores in Quebec and 4 in Ontario. [1][2][3]
