Vita Health Fresh Market is a Winnipeg-based natural-foods grocery chain owned by the Holtmann family, who purchased the retail business in 1998 to keep it family-owned. Mathew Holtmann became president in 2011, representing the third generation. The company traces to a 1936 mail-order operation founded by G.W. Seier and operates six Fresh Market stores offering full-service organic groceries, supplements, herbs and natural household products. [1][2]
