Val-Mont is a Montreal-area grocery and fruiterie chain whose first store opened in 1958 on Avenue du Mont-Royal in Montreal, founded by Dominique Marcogliese and Grégoire Imbeau. The business expanded to multiple locations (including Montreal, Boucherville and Repentigny) and changed hands over the decades, becoming Les Jardins ValMont under operators Éric Fortin and Pierre Legault in 2008. Each store offers a butcher, bakery, fish counter, cheese shop and produce departments. [1]
