Independent, 100% B.C.-owned family grocer. Its Vancouver history traces to Carson Stong, who set up early open-air markets in the downtown core in 1931; the Dunbar store opened in 1955. Long led by great-granddaughter Cori Bonina, who stepped down as CEO in 2019 after 40 years with the company. Remains family-owned. [1][2]
