Its registered legal name is 'Otter Farm & Home Co-operative' (corrected on verification 2026-05-29: independent sources including Wikipedia, the Aldergrove Business Association business directory and multiple business listings confirm the legal name is 'Otter Farm & Home Co-operative', the name adopted on June 22, 1979 when it converted from the Otter District Farmers' Institute to an official co-operative; the prior value 'Otter Co-operative Association' was not supported by any verifiable source). Originally incorporated as the Otter District Farmers' Institute on November 13, 1922.
