La Boite à Grains is a natural- and organic-foods grocery retailer founded in Gatineau, Quebec in 1980 by Pierre Ménard and Dominique Lauriault. It operates four health-food supermarkets in the Outaouais region plus an online store, and in 2020 acquired the certified-organic grocer Sol Épicerie Santé in Aylmer. Long-time president Pierre Ménard transferred ownership in August 2024 to Alexandre Savard, who had joined the company in 2010 and become general manager in 2014. [1][2]
