Founded in 1983 by the Leung family (parents Chie Yau and Chie Wen Leung with sons Kin Wah, Kin Hun and Kin Fun) as an eight-foot produce table at Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver; first storefront opened in Richmond in 1987. Still family-owned and operated (third-generation management), headquartered in Richmond, B.C., with roughly 20-plus locations across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
