Highland Farms Inc.

family controlled · HQ Canada

Highland Farms is a family-owned regional supermarket chain in the Greater Toronto Area, founded in 1963 by brothers Charles and Louis ("Louie") Coppa. In 2013 the family split the business, with three stores rebranded as Coppa's Fresh Market under a separate company controlled by Louie Coppa while Highland Farms Inc. retained the remaining stores. Following the closure of its Mississauga flagship in November 2025, the Highland Farms banner operates two stores, in Scarborough and Vaughan. [1][2]
