Denninger's is a family-owned gourmet and European-style grocery business founded by Rudolf and Frieda Denninger, German immigrants who opened their first Hamilton store in 1954. The company remains owned and operated by the Denninger family, now in its third generation. It runs four to five retail stores in the Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and Stoney Creek area along with a manufacturing plant and warehouse. [1][2]
